The institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth (BV) was accorded deemed university status in 1996 for its academic excellence. Total Hostel Fee

Limited hostel accommodation is available on the campus both for boys and girls (10 seats for boys & 5 seats for girls). The same will be given on merit basis. The hostel fee once paid is not refundable.

Eligibility Criteria

BA.LL.B 5 Year Course

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

(after qualifying LL.B (5 year) Entrance Test) :

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission – As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008,

the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 examination in any of

the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than

45% of the total marks in case of general category and more

than 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.

BB.A LL.B 5 Year Course

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

(after qualifying BB.A LL.B (5 year) Entrance Test) :

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission – As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008,

the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 examination in any of

the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than

LL.B 3 Year Course

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

(after qualifying LL.B (3 year) Entrance Test) :

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission – As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008,the applicant shall have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any of

the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than 45% of the total marks in case of general category and more

than 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.

 

Selection Process

BA.LL.B 5 Year Course

COUNSELLING PROGRAMME & ADMISSION

1)The candidate shall secure minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in BA LL.B. year Entrance Test 2020 to qualify the BA LL.B 5 year Entrance Test.

2)Every candidate shall visit the law college website: www.bvpnlcpune.org from time to time for updated information and clarifications regarding counselling and admission schedules.

3)Candidates who have qualified the BA LL.B. year Entrance Test 2020 will be called for counselling (subject to intake capacity) through website notification. They shall attend the first

  counselling at Pune or Delhi for admission to New Law College, Pune. Individual letters of counselling will not be sent.

4)Admission for B.A. LL.B. 5 year Course shall be made on basis of inter-se merit secured by the candidate at BA LL.B. year Entrance Test 2020 as per the requirement of intake capacity.

5)The candidate shall confirm the admission by paying the total fees prescribed on the date of Counselling. The fee should be paid through Demand Draft in favour of Principal, New Law

  College, Pune drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Pune.

6)The eligible candidate will lose claim permanently for admission if the candidate fails to attend counselling on the specified date for admission to B.A. LL.B. 5 year Course for academic year 2020-21.

7)The admission shall remain provisional unless the candidate clears the eligibility requirements of the University. Provisional admission can be cancelled at any stage, if found not eligible

  without any notice to the concerned candidate.

BB.A LL.B 5 Year Course
