About Us
| Adamas University, with a sprawling green campus extending over 100 acres, nestled in Barasat (13 kms away from the Subash Chandra Bose International Airport Kolkata), and in its 5th year of operation, aspires to impart finest quality education to the young minds of West Bengal, with an already established high quality research facility and a powerful team of teachers. The University has many international initiatives collaborating with the industries and educational institutes to facilitate projects, research and student exchange programs. About the Program
| Adamas University (AU) awards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) to a candidate who has successfully completed the stipulated Programme of Research. The candidates will be required to undergo Ph.D. / PG level course work as per UGC rules prior to registration. The admission of the candidate of the Ph.D. programme is governed by Regulations for the Registration and Award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) of Adamas University, 2017, which is based on UGC regulations, 2016 |

Eligibility Criteria
|
All candidates seeking admission to the PhD program shall have to possess the requisite marks / grades in qualifying examination as indicated below: Master’s Degree or equivalent as approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Technology or any other discipline. Graduate in Professional courses recognized by law, such as, Medical, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Company Secretary, etc. with good academic record and having aptitude for research. The minimum marks for Humanity is 55% and for others is 60% or equivalent grade. |
