CUSAT Pattern
The test includes four different sections of 150 questions. The topics for the test are:
Section 1: English Language
Section 2: Mathematical Ability
Section 3: Reasoning ability
Section 4: General awareness in the area of Business/ Economics/ Commerce
CUSAT Eligibility Criteria
Admission to the various MBA programmes offered by the School of Management Studies, CUSAT is based on a valid score in any one of the following Management Aptitude Tests followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
a. KMAT conducted by CEE, Govt. of Kerala (conducted before the closure of the application for the MBA program of SMS, CUSAT).
b. C-MAT of AICTE (conducted before the closure of the application for the MBA program of SMS, CUSAT).
c. IIM-CAT .
CUSAT Selection Process
After shortlisting the candidates, CUSAT conducts GD/PI for the shortlisted candidates. Final selection is made by the overall marks obtained by the candidates on various selection process.

CUSAT Reservation
50% seats are reserved for candidates having a minimum of 3 years of supervisory / executive experience after taking the degree. In the absence of sufficient number of eligible candidates from the aforesaid category, vacant seats will be treated as open to all candidates. Similarly, in the absence of sufficient number of candidates from nonexperienced category, such vacant seats will be open to candidates from experienced category.
One seat of M.B.A. (Full-time) programme is reserved for Army Officers (who are eligible as per the Clause 5.1.1 recommended by the Army Head Quarters. Original recommendation letter from the Army Head Quarters is to be produced at the time of Group Discussion/Personal Interview / Admission.
